This photo is of my son Tyler. He is 20 years old. I took this a few days ago.
One week ago Tyler had an outburst, a meltdown of sorts. We were able to talk about it afterwards.
My son has been depressed, anxious and suffering from post traumatic stress. It has caught up with him and he is choosing to get help.
Since the outburst we have looked into a day treatment program for him. There is a waitlist but he is willing to wait.
I have seen a hope in my son. Even though treatment has not started yet I see a hope in him. His surrendering to what is going on with him mentally – has started a process within himself to heal.
It is amazing to see this in another human.
When I took this picture we were watching one of his favorite shows “Muppet Mayhem”.
I saw his face and his body so relaxed and happy and I realized the value of a moment in time.
Nothing else really matters.
We sure love our kids. ♥️ I’m glad Tyler has you. ♥️

You are the perfect person to walk with him through it. God knew that as He designed him and who would mother him. So glad you have each other.😃❤️

No, nothing else does matter than to see a happy and heartfelt soul go beyond something, let go that pain we all carry and begin to be free. There will be others, but each time that love shows more and more in those eyes Danielle. I hope it all goes well in that journey. To talk is to trust…to trust is to love…and to love…it is in the end…everything ❤️🙏
And I love his shirt and beanie. But mine is the opposite, my beanie is made from all of this many colored wool (limes and greens and yellows (and my mom made me another one recently of a blended purple, pink, mauve and grey with an orange and yellow stripe around the middle) and my shirt, alas, a bit plain of a tan color. I shall learn from him and look for something like his 😀But indeed he has class to put himself out there just as he is 😀❤️🙏
