I am a true addict living my life one day at a time in recovery. I have been substance free -meaning NO drugs or alcohol since 5/23/10. My intention is to share my experiences daily in the hopes to free others from the fears of being who they truly are. My wish is to bravely tell my truth so others can tell theirs as well. I want to be free of self hatred and doubt. I want to live a life of joy, kindness, love and grace. Thank you!

Yes!! We expect so much and when humbly accept instead of expect, what a difference! Then God can be seen in it! So precious is surrender of pride and expectations. So powerful! For there God is. Love.๐โค๏ธ
We need to remind each other. Life is a co-op, we participate with each other under God. This is the best we can do. It is good. Praise God when it goes as it should.๐โค๏ธ
Haha…I love it, well said kind lady. And you are, on all counts ๐ โค๏ธ ๐๐ฝ ๐ฆ
P.s. Still working on the post, I was distracted by a friend in need ๐
Your welcome โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ Itโs kind of ridiculous when I think I know better than the universe and all thatโs been created – ha ha๐๐๐โค๏ธ
That reply was not finished – what I wanted to say was your very wise in your words and the knowledge that you have of the Bible and scripture are a source of encouragement and kindness for me. I appreciate every time you share โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธthank you
“If wishes were horses, beggars would ride,
If wishes were fishes, we’d have some fried”

“You grieve, I know not what to say – just promise, me one thing, Sis – do not destroy yourself with What Ifs – I don’t want lose you too” (my brother after my dad and my son died)
Didn’t share to make ya feel worse, just to say, “be careful – the What Ifs can break your heart or you, if you get to attached to them” – and sometimes, ya gotta remind yourself when a loved one is walking their path to the Great Divide ahead of ya – hugs and โค
I can so relate to each sentence that you wrote, as if I wrote it. We are a work in progress… Learning to accept, let go, and love ourselves and each other… Like the dance of life.

Agree at times we can be hard on ourselves and also judge others when we shouldn’t.

The pondering’s of life are the signs of life. Contentment in the journey is good… contentment apart from the journey is stagnation.
Appreciate your sharing.

Yes – Iโve been thinking similarly. Itโs like, the more I redirect my brain to being creative, itโs easier to be present. Thank you.

Thank you! Once we know that we can actually redirect our thinking – it gives us knowledge of the greatest power we hold – our attention ๐๐๐
