What if? 6/3

What if I stop worrying and just trust?

What if I stop being so hard on myself ?

What if I become content in each moment?

What if I stop judging the world….acting as if I know better?

What if I realize I am here by gods grace to experience, enjoy and be free?

What if I stop saying what if?

I am a true addict living my life one day at a time in recovery. I have been substance free -meaning NO drugs or alcohol since 5/23/10. My intention is to share my experiences daily in the hopes to free others from the fears of being who they truly are. My wish is to bravely tell my truth so others can tell theirs as well. I want to be free of self hatred and doubt. I want to live a life of joy, kindness, love and grace. Thank you!

  1. Yes!! We expect so much and when humbly accept instead of expect, what a difference! Then God can be seen in it! So precious is surrender of pride and expectations. So powerful! For there God is. Love.๐Ÿ˜ƒโค๏ธ

      1. We need to remind each other. Life is a co-op, we participate with each other under God. This is the best we can do. It is good. Praise God when it goes as it should.๐Ÿ˜ƒโค๏ธ

  3. The pondering’s of life are the signs of life. Contentment in the journey is good… contentment apart from the journey is stagnation.

    Appreciate your sharing.

      1. Didn’t share to make ya feel worse, just to say, “be careful – the What Ifs can break your heart or you, if you get to attached to them” – and sometimes, ya gotta remind yourself when a loved one is walking their path to the Great Divide ahead of ya – hugs and โค

  5. I can so relate to each sentence that you wrote, as if I wrote it. We are a work in progress… Learning to accept, let go, and love ourselves and each other… Like the dance of life.
